Olu Montessori's mission is to provide an environment that cultivates responsible and respectful citizens who show empathy, collaboration, love, independence, diversity, and joy for life. We pride ourselves on assisting children to develop self-discipline and social skills to approach social and emotional challenges with confidence, resilience, awareness, and enthusiasm.

Olu means the lotus flower in Sinhalese, the national language of Sri Lanka. The Lotus flower grows in murky water and emerges toward the light and sits floating above the water. Olu represents how every person has the potential to work towards the light. At Olu Montessori, we aim to provide an environment where all children have the potential to blossom into their best selves. Authentic Montessori material, AMI and AMS trained guides, and the local community at Olu Montessori will support your child to help them find their natural joy for life and emerge toward the light of the sun.
